Step aside Angelina Jolie, Ms. Safety is here

Admit it. You pay as much attention to safety videos as you do to airline menus. They're both boring, stale and never fail to underwhelm you - even when you're starving. This past weekend, Katherine Lee made her debut on YouTube, sending a clear message to airline execs: If you want to make us happy, give us something fresh.

Katherine Lee as DeltalinaKatherine Lee as DeltalinaKatherine Lee, the single 33-year-old who has been with the airline for a decade, stars in Delta's newest safety video. She auditioned against 81 other flight attendants to be the new face of safety for the airline. Her cheekbones have earned her the name of "Deltalina" - a tribute to her similarity to Angelina Jolie. But is she sexy enough to make you pay attention to safety during your next flight? Do you even care?

Delta's confident that not only will you want to watch her for her beauty but also her playful, intelligent personality. And they're betting her covergirl smile and finger wag are a shoo in for male and female viewers alike.

The release to YouTube was a test drive of the airline's new image. And if interest over the weekend isn't enough of a thumbs up, you be the judge:

What do you think? Will you watch Deltalina on your next flight with Delta?

Right now the agencies are still dealing with a lot of paperwork to get into Myanmar. However, once they are in, they need names and applications on file so they can call on you when they are ready to go. If your vacation dates are more structured, why don't you contact an agency which runs volunteer programs all the time, you'll be able to make a difference somewhere without driving your boss nuts waiting to find out when you're going. Good luck!"

I've been considering a volunteer vacation with my teens - 16 & 17 year old girls - and Costa Rica sounds like the perfect spot. We get the tropical vacation I want and we get to do something good for others at the same time."
