The Illinois earthquake has no reported damage or injuries as of first thing this morning, but it’sReady for Anything!Ready for Anything! a strong enough quake that anything could have happened. We're all smart about emergency preparedness at home (especially since disasters like 9/11 and Hurricane Katrina) but do you think the same way when you travel?

The Democratic Republic of Congo has one of the worst records for plane crashes worldwide. Rescue Workers in Goma, Congo/ The APRescue Workers in Goma, Congo/ APNewsUnfortunately, yesterday brought yet another tragedy. At least 113 passengers were injured and 38 died after the DC-9 jet crashed into a residential area of Gomo, a market town in Congo.
