Stewart angry and frustrated with lost beauty sleep

Some divas are unmistakable like Britney Spears, Paris Hilton, Lindsay Lohan. Nuff said.

Diva or Star?Diva or Star?Other divas surprise us.

Take Rod Stewart, for example. A 63-year-old rocker who's been around the block so many times it's named after him. But this aging rocker has a few tantrums left in him yet - and we aren't going to argue his need for beauty sleep!

Stewart's touring the land down under and less than impressed with some of his hotel neighbors. Yesterday the DailyRecord reported about an incident between Stewart and a cheeky hotel guest who blasted loud music into the wee hours.

A phone call to reception, another to the room above Stewart asking the guest to turn down his music. A hotel employee told the DailyRecord, "A member of staff called the man, who also happened to be a big name in the music promotion business and asked him to turn down the music."

The guest kindly offered to put Stewart's music on, but wasn't keen on putting a lid on his late-night partying. The guest was enjoying the music of Italian heartthrob, Eros Ramazzott, but he offered to switch to Stewart's music. Stewart declined.

Sounds like the InterContinental in Sydney isn't big enough for 2 divas to be checked in at the same time.

Stewart played in Christchurch and the Mission Estate Winery in New Zealand and has now moved onto Australia for performances in Brisbane, Sydney, Melbourne and Adelaide.

Stewart's been rocking through the decades and probably has as much (if not more) money as Sir Richard Branson. Maybe Stewart will come up with a new hotel chain that separates the riff raff from the true divas...err stars.

Ever had a noisy hotel room neighbor that tested your sanity? What did you do to survive the night?

Right now the agencies are still dealing with a lot of paperwork to get into Myanmar. However, once they are in, they need names and applications on file so they can call on you when they are ready to go. If your vacation dates are more structured, why don't you contact an agency which runs volunteer programs all the time, you'll be able to make a difference somewhere without driving your boss nuts waiting to find out when you're going. Good luck!"
