Bumpy landings not all that uncommon, according to YouTube plane spotters

A few minutes after midnight, a Boeing 737 skidded off the runway at Port Columbus Airport in Ohio. None of the 130 passengers were hurt. The plane is fine too.

Port Columbus International is a busy airport, but bad Port Columbus AirportPort Columbus Airportweather is causing a dizzying array of cancellations today.

Cleveland Hopkins International Airport is open but also reporting massive delays and cancellations as well. Continental uses Cleveland as a hub and airport spokesman, Todd Payne told the Associated Press, "I would imagine, based on Continental's figures, we'll probably cancel about 50 flights today."

We've covered a few bumpy landing stories in the past few weeks. The Lufthansa landing in Germany caught by a plane spotter on the ground, and Matt Cawby's video of the hot-dogging stunt that cost the pilot his job.

But bumpy landings are a lot more common than you think. We've gathered a few videos from Youtube that will make you glad you didn't have a window seat during these flights. Enjoy!

Actually, where I sit currently (on a barrier island) has been under water many times. Staying on an island is scary. We leave if it is over a CAT 1. The most important thing for us is to fill our gas tanks at the first inkling that there may be a storm. Water, medicines, non perishable food, they're all really important. Honestly, if it is a big storm, alcohol later serves as pay for work. We stock up on EVERYTHING. We start eating out of the freezer days before (like we did tonight, getting ready for Earl). You don't want much to go bad. Then we tie up all the trash cans, secure grills, and hold on for dear life :)"

The buses in Mexico are very comfortable like flying in a plane they often have movies and it is safer.Plan your trip and don't travel alone especially if you are female.Women traveling alone are a target Good luck and stay alert."
