Superbowl hero, Eli Manning, and high school sweetheart, Abby McGrew, tie the knot at One&Only Palmilla

Giants star quarterback, Eli Manning, and Abby McGrew were married this past weekend in Cabos San Lucas, Mexico. They've been hinting at it for weeks, but at sunset on Saturday, the lovebirds said "I do" to each other during a beachfront ceremony. And we don't think they could have a picked a more picture-perfect place.

Eli Manning WeddingEli Manning WeddingThe Los Angeles Times calls it "one of the most comfortably luxurious hotels in Mexico...and one of the most spectacular resort hotels anywhere." Perched on a cliff facing the sea, the resort is an accumulation of white stone buildings decorated with trailing bougainvilleas. It has an aura of classic elegance, but recent upgrades give it modern sophistication.

Seriously, sign us up.

Manning and his bride aren't the only ones to choose the resort for their wedding. It's a world-renowned resort for weddings and anniversaries alike. Most ceremonies take place in the hillside chapel across from the resort's championship golf course, designed by Jack Nicklaus.

Manning, 27, and McGrew, 24, said thier vows on the sand to the waves crashing in the background. Their celebration at the One&Only Palmilla was an intimate affair of just 60 guests. Some estimate the wedding racked up a bill of more than $500,000 - small change compared to some celebrity weddings.

The couple plans to spend another week at the resort, sunning off the stress and frolicing in the surf. Sounds like heaven...

I had just purchased it on board the ship the day prior. But nothing can compare to the loss of a family member. The Captain had everyones attention for the announcement. Captain Draper done a great job informing the passengers of the accident. Our thoughts and prayers are with the Rumphrey family."

My heart was so heavy over the thought of his dear parents losing their son on what was to be a very happy time. My heart is with his family and I will pray for them."

I was very impressed with the way Captain Draper handled the situation and I told him so. He made it a priority to inform all passengers and eliminated rumor and speculation. It's nice to know the other passengers involved felt the driver saved their lives. The roads in Tortola are terrible and I'm sure much skill is involvd navigating them safely. I hope you enjoyed your cruise, despite this tragedy. Julia"
