Clinton Library – Hillary’s Records Make it a Fascinating Visit
William J. Clinton Presidential Library has Hillary Clinton's Daily Schedules
Information Overload
Early this morning, 11 000 pages of Hillary Rodham Clinton's
schedules were released to the public. The detailed records cover almost every
second of her time as First Lady.
Ranging from day-to-day activities like lunch or working out, the records also show when her private meetings were (and with who), where she ate, and what she said (in the case of public speeches).
Absolutely fascinating or disturbing and creepy? I really can't decide.
What I do know is that like the many activists and journalists currently bee-lining it to the library, I'd love to flip through those pages. After all, that would be my only chance to know how a First Lady lives.
Sure information about how much work she really did, and what causes she cares for are an important part of public record, but I've got questions of my own to be answered:
Does the first lady ever make her own coffee? Is it served in bed, or does she have to walk through to a breakfast room first? And where was she when Monica Lewinsky met Bill?
If it were me, I'd be terrified of the world finding out my dirty little secrets. How long I spend in the bathroom is entirely my own business.
But you've got to hand it to Hill, she's never a lady to be afraid. She's opening up her life, warts and all, to prove how badly she wants to be prez.
The Clinton Presidential Library is located within the Clinton Presidential Center and Park, in Little Rock Arkansas. Or you can view them at the National Archives in Washington D.C. Tickets for the library are $7.00 for adults - not a bad price to pay for the presidential schedule.
Can't make the trip out of town? You can still see the schedules online for free!
Time for a little harmless voyeurism...
