Off-beat tour that's good for your health

Looking for a way to work some workout time into your next vacation? Can't get enough of celebrity gossip? Thanks to a tour company you can now combine your health kick with your gossip addiction.

Sweet.

Full disclosure: we've never heard of this company, so we can't recommend them. But we thought it was a cool idea worth blogging about. And we love their logo - keeps you on the streets...

Cheryly Hines & the PaparazziCheryl Hines & the PaparazziHere's what we know. Tours are built around your needs - fitness level, size of your group and celebrity favorites - and can be as long as 6 miles. Their website says they offer fresh fruit, cupcakes and mineral water après-tour as well as a T-shirt for every participant. If you're not traveling with a group, you can choose from their off-the-shelf tours:

Running from the Paparazzi: A 4-mile tour that follows Wilshire Boulevard to Rodeo Drive and onto Robertson Boulevard. You'll need your shades while you duck around the flashing cameras of paparazzi and celebs in this famous neighborhood.

Stars of the Silver Screen: This tour takes you past the former homes of Marilyn Monroe, Jean Harlow, Jimmy Stewart, Lucille Ball and Jack Benny.

Pacific Pleasures Tours: You'll run along the beach in Santa Monica to the historic Pier and through Palisades Park. Bring your cameras - the view of the ocean from here is spectacular.

Marvelous Mansion Tours: You'll need to kick up the cardio as you run past the sprawling mansions of Lauren Bacall, Humphrey Bogart, Aaron Spelling and even the Playboy Mansion.

Actually, where I sit currently (on a barrier island) has been under water many times. Staying on an island is scary. We leave if it is over a CAT 1. The most important thing for us is to fill our gas tanks at the first inkling that there may be a storm. Water, medicines, non perishable food, they're all really important. Honestly, if it is a big storm, alcohol later serves as pay for work. We stock up on EVERYTHING. We start eating out of the freezer days before (like we did tonight, getting ready for Earl). You don't want much to go bad. Then we tie up all the trash cans, secure grills, and hold on for dear life :)"

The buses in Mexico are very comfortable like flying in a plane they often have movies and it is safer.Plan your trip and don't travel alone especially if you are female.Women traveling alone are a target Good luck and stay alert."
