Food + travel = happy GoGirlfriends

Born again foodies unite. January is our delish issue, all about exploring the many ways we can satisfy our wanderlust. We're finished with bland decor, stuffy waiters and food that's more sentimental than delightful. Whether you're in Toronto or Tahiti, stale is still stale.

Life is Delish!Life is Delish! We're reclaiming food and travel in 2012, one mesmerizing experience at a time. And it's not all about the food - a naughty weekend away with your lover can be as delicious as a tasting tour through wine country.

Throughout January, we'll be sharing delicious posts here on GoGirlfriend. While we can't write about everything that's divine, we'll use Twitter and Facebook to connect you directly so you don't miss a thing.

GoGirlfriend's favorite "delish" blogs

Everyone likes a sneak peak, so consider this your appetizer - enough to whet your appetite but not enough to spoil it.

Tastespotting - I started following Sarah in 2007, when I was an editor of an international restaurant review site. The site has long since passed away, but Sarah's still taking pictures of her food. While she doesn't cook, she'll tell where you to go to follow her foodie bliss.

Cocktail Deeva - One of our favorite bloggers that we happen to know in real life, Dee Brun. She's forever irreverent, barely sober most days and mixes wicked cocktails. Think pre-dinner drinks, mixed in a hotel room, cruise ship cabin. Go ahead, use your imagination!

The Internet Chef - Bridget Davis has a nack for making us drool with hunger...all the time. While most of her recipes would be tricky to make while traveling, we all need something to dream about, right? And the fact that Bridget lives half a world away from us makes her exotic.

Huffpost Food - If you're like us and crave variety in everything you do - travel, food, bloggers - then HuffPo is for you. Snack on a little bit of everything and dive in with abandon with the ones you truly adore.

Got a favorite food blogger? How about a blogger who just makes life delish? Share them with us here and let's all enjoy a little decadence! Follow us on Twitter or like us on Facebook and let's start talking!
