Ask any mom what she really wants and the answer is almost 100% of the time, a break. Sounds simple, but it's not. And that's why GoGirlfriend is thrilled to give two lucky moms a chance to get away for a couple of days and indulge in themselves.

MomThrive contestMomThrive contestIt's not that we don't love our kids and want the best for them. It's not that we don't love our partners. It's not even that we're unhappy. Raising a family is hard work, 24/7, and it can get overwhelming. Getting away lets us get back in touch with ourselves so we're recharged and ready to give back to our families ... 24/7.

I would love to go!! This is a great conference that will help me grow as a mom and a women!! fingers crossed!

A getaway sounds like a great idea. And I know just the mom to take with me.

I've never been to one of these conferences but I'd love to experience one!

Aahhh...a little ME Time! Just what the Dr. ordered There's nothing more revitalizing and motivating than spending time in the company of fabulous, smart, interesting women. We lift each other up, share ideas and cheer each other on and I think we all need a little bit of that now and then. I would love to get to go, connect and have some fun. Thanks for the chance!

Hi, i don't know if my last comment got posted. but i really want to attend the conference because i really would love to getaway as well as learn more from other moms. i went to the she's connected conference in september and it has really helped my blogging career. since then my readership has tripled and now i also blog for the huffington post. so i totally respect the powerful boost that comes from a mom's conference because you get to learn so much from women with so much experience. i can't wait to get away with such amazing company!

It is the New Terra Cotta Clothing Optional Resort and Spa in sunny Palm Springs, California.. The original Terra Cotta Inn was a fantastic nude resort. Repeat guests from around the world stayed there. TCI was sold in Nov 2015 and greatly missed. Well, this July 2017, it was revived at a new location in Palm Springs. The site is HotelTerraCotta.com. Guests are super happy. It's perfect for couples and girlfriend getaways. And Tom and Mary Clare from the original Terra Cotta Inn work with us, so it has the same relaxing, fun feel. "

I understand in the litigious US of A, hotels need to prevent folks from throwing themselves out the windows (or else the hotel could be sued?!!). Ok, fine. But for those of us who dislike A/C and only use it when absolutely necessary, can't we still have the option for some FRESH AIR? There ARE ways to allow windows to open up only so much, while at the same time preventing an entire body from throwing itself out the window. Bedskirts. Am I the only one who gets the skeevies when I see hotel beds with bedskirts that hit the floor? I always had images of food crumbs, bugs, and god only knows what...as being hidden behind that bedskirt. I'd much rather a bedskirt that's at least 2" above the (usually carpetted) floor. Towels. Can't we get nicer towels that don't feel like cardboard? Carpetting. Am I the only one who never walks barefoot in a hotel room ...esp when there's carpet? Blech. I'm sure those things are very rarely cleaned. "
