Cheer up, the worst is over

Chillin' in BarbadosChillin' in BarbadosAccording researchers, January 17 is the day most people resign themselves to another year of failed waistline or debt reduction. But it isn't until January 21 - Blue Monday - that the depression sets in.

Whether it's mid-winter blahs or facing a snarky boss who's flushed his nicotine patch, this may be the most depressing week of the year. Got plans for getting through January unscathed?

Research shows exposure to sun can help. Since I Beachy DreamsBeachy Dreamsnever do anything by half measures, I'm doing a full-out Caribbean escape - where I'll flick my failed resolutions off like sand from between my toes.
