The path to adventure...GoGirlfriend is looking for an enthusiastic, self-starter who wants practical travel writing and social media experience. Our GG Girl is a global thinker who can tweet and Facebok while scoping out sweet new places to travel. She's super-organized and always puts the community first - because travel should be easy, fun and safe.

You'll work directly with our editor in chief, Julia Rosien, providing editorial assistance including research, writing and various other responsibilities that include both menial (but crucial) tasks - and a few mind-blowing opportunities. The position is unpaid and requires 10 hours per week. Being a GG Girl demands creativity, dedication, and the ability to write about travel from a female perspective. Not a female?

Not a problem. Our audience is women - our staff doesn't have to be.

We're happy to consider a GG Guy too.

GG Girl/Guy Responsibilities

• Generate, update and create online content for Twitter, Facebook and the main GG site.
•  Identify, monitor and analyze social media mentions
•  Engage in conversations online
• Originate story ideas for the site and social media channels 

GG Girl/Guy Qualifications 

• A healthy sense of fun
• Ability to work on a shoe-string budget and still get stuff done
• An attitude positive enough to charm the grumpiest border agent
• A Teflon can-do approach - nothing gets you down, girlfriend
• Writing skills that dazzle and delight
• Organization skills that rival a military sergeant
• Communication skills that go beyond being a good writer - we're looking for excellent here
