5 Things I Wanna Do in Vegas
Last month I attended a conference in Vegas. I'm embarrassed to admit it, but it was my first time to Sin City. I wanted to carouse the strip, nosh divine meals and generally do everything!
NOT Eating in Las VegasUnfortunately, it didn't quite work out that way. The conference turned out to be excruciatingly long with pre-packaged food for breakfast and lunch. Tony Romas - not exactly a foodie's nirvana - was the resto of choise.
Next time, I'm shedding my Vegas virginity and doing everything I missed the first time around!
The Venetian - My gal pal, Carly, loves the Playboy Club, Tao, "You wouldn't think it possible to blend Buddhist zen décor with the sound and fury that belies a nightclub, but Tao has mixed the two opposites with outstanding results."
Liberace Museum - He may have died more than 20 years ago and this may be the kitschiest joint in Vegas (no small feat!) but who can resist Mr. Showman's trippy memorabilia? And other than my grandmother's bathroom, where am I ever gonna see Liberace soap and ashtrays?
Nove - Ask anyone who knows me and they'll tell you my favourite pastime is eating. Carly, true BFF, doesn't let me down here either. "While the view from the 53rd floor of the Fantasy Tower is breathtaking, it's the food that will leave you weak at the knees."
Platinum Hotel & Spa - Sure, the fun and food is important in Vegas but when you need a little redemption, this spa has your number. After all, when in Vegas, working off the late night buffets doesn't have to be painful!
Backstage Tour - Admit it, you've always wanted to don a feather boa and strap on stilettos to strut across a stage. The hour-long tour takes you through the dressing rooms and costumes - but you must be 13 years or older. Sounds sinfully juicy - and right up my alley!
What's your favourite Vegas hot spot? Lemme know soon cause I'm going again in a few months and I need to start planning my itinerary!
