You'll find the predictable pastas and mixed green salads, but the best restaurants in Toronto serve up Summerlicious Toronto 2010Summerlicious Toronto 2010innovative specials and their most popular signature dishes. Before booking your reservation, scan their menu to ensure you're getting a lip-smacking selection - if not, move onto another restaurant.

Canoe Restaurant

Our personal fav (and just about everyone else) sells out fast. You'll fall in love with the view from the 54th floor and chic ambience (divine for a 1st, 3rd or 43rd date night) but it's really all about the food. ExecutiveSummerlicious Toronto 2010Summerlicious Toronto 2010 Chef, Anthony Walsh is a master of artisanal Canadiana, while sommelier, Will Predhomme, relies on Canadian wine and Maudite beer to complete the taste sensation.

Banu Restaurant

Sumerlicious Toronto 2010Sumerlicious Toronto 2010Owned by the ever-present Mohyeddin siblings, this Kebab and vodka bar is an homage to 1970's Iranian nightlife. With 20 different vodkas paired with adventurous and traditional Persian meals, your meal is anything but run of the mill.

Mistura Restaurant

Oh those Italians, they don't do anything by half measure, do they? Despite a cookbook, television appearances and Sopra (Toronto's sexiest lounge) chefSummerlicious Toronto 2010Summerlicious Toronto 2010 and co-owner, Massimo Capra continues to reinvent decadent Italian fare. But even with Summerlicious be prepared for a hefty bill - their wine list lacks options in the two-digit price range.

Noce Restaurant

Guido Saldini and Elena Morelli nurture a family gathering ambience with an open kitchen and lots of laughter from both owners and guests alike. Their Summerlicious Toronto 2010Summerlicious Toronto 2010claim to fame is Tuscan dining with a focus pastry so light you'll think it's calorie-free (it's not). A Wine Spectator award winner nine years in a row means that no matter how decadent the menu, they'll have the perfect wine to match.

Ultra Restaurant

They've tagged 7 different cuisine types for their Summerlicious offerings (which made us question their menu). But the glamorous bar separated by the main dining room with a table that also serves as the cat-walk during fashions shows forced us to forgive. You'll find daring eastern flavours mixed with westernSummerlicious Toronto 2010Summerlicious Toronto 2010 preparation - and lots of heavy sauces. Don't come here if you're on a diet. If you're into stargazing and socializing with the in-crowd, strap in your stilettos and slip into your fav little black dress because you'll want to stay for cocktails and dancing afterward.

Read their Summerlicioius menu or call for reservations: 416-263-0330.

Veritas Restaurant

Summerlicious Toronto 2010Summerlicious Toronto 2010Vegetarian-friendly with a focus on local, fresh foods and a casual atmosphere make Vertias a great place to gather with friends for lunch or an early  dinner before heading out on the town. Their dedication to fair-priced Ontario wines mean that whether you visit during Summerlicious or not, your bill will stay on this side of sane.
