Online travel agent adds city-to-city email notices

We love travel sites that promise us the moon and deliver a sleek new ship for the ride there. Airfare Watchdog is one of our favorites, but today it's an even slicker option. Thanks to new features like personalize city-to-city airfare email alerts.

Ticket Outta HereTicket Outta HereThe email alerts aren't new, but your ability to pair specific cities is. That means instead of signing up for mass alerts that you'll have to sift through, you can customize them to your particular travel interests.

Taking advantage of sites like Airfare Watchdog often comes down to how flexible you can be. If you're traveling for business or taking a cruise, you won't have the same flexibility as someone booking a vacation to see the family back East for a few weeks.

But if you can be flexible, get ready to save money. By giving the site a couple of departure options and some additional wiggle room for the return trip, you can often save substantially on the fare. And if you're traveling to an international destination but can be flexible about your departure city from within the US, you'll be able to find cheaper fares quicker.

Airfare Watchdog also captures airline "promo-codes" that other sites haven't been able to snag as yet.

If you're a travel junky like us, you'll love how customizable you can make your alerts and searches on Airfare Watchdog. And if you want to make sure you've found the absolute best prices you can possibly find, have a look at some of the other booking sites we love:
