Search Dave Freeman tonight and you'll find hundreds of bloggers paying tribute to a guy who squeezed every drop he could out of his short life. Dave only finished half his list before he died, but I still call that a success.

Last week, Dave Freeman, 47-year-old author of the travel guide, "100 Things to Do before You Die," passed away at his home in Venice, California. Freeman, an advertising exec, co-wrote the book with his running partner at the time, Neil Teplica.
