Would Your Family Be Welcome?

Sunny Family FunSunny Family FunThey brought us Dora the Explorer, Sponge Bob SquarePants and Jamie Lynn Spears as Zoey 101. Now mammoth children's entertainment company Nickelodeon is breaking into the travel industry with an August cruise.

Can the Nickelodeon Family Cruise deliver on a promise to be as fun for adults as it is for kids? The ambitious organizers are eager to prove it's going to be fresher and more fun than a classic Disney vacation.

Don't expect too much grown-up time unless your family fits perfectly into Nickelodeon's age bracket. If your little ones are too tiny, they won't be part of the all-inclusive activities.

Let the kids go nuts for Nick's programming. Supervised activities are fully included for ages 3-17 so adults can enjoy the other amenities.

If your tyke isn't old enough, you can still hit up the casino and other adult events. Just bring enough cash to shell out for a sitter. Group and private care will run you $8/hour, on a first-come, first-serve basis.

Since kids activities are closed by ten, and tots in babysitting have to be between 1 and 3 years old to qualify, we don't think the nightclub will be very full.

Cruised with your kids? Would you do it again?
