10 things I've done that You may not have...

Search "Dave Freeman" tonight and you'll find hundreds of bloggers paying tribute to a guy who squeezed every drop he could out of his short life. Dave only finished half his list before he died, but I still call that a success.

How many of us have a Bucket List growing stale in a lingerie drawer? Or worse, how many of us haven't even started one yet?

My list is ever changing and ever growing, and I'm okay with that. I don't think I'll ever be half done because the half-way mark keeps shifing.

On a night like tonight, I want to take stock of some of the amazing things I've already done. After all, it's great to look ahead and say someday I'm going to skydive or walk the Great Wall of China. But tonight I'm taking a minute to savor the gratitude of what I've already done.

Take a look at my list. Have you done what I've done?

1. Hot air ballooned over the Rio Grande.

2. Body-surfed in Barbados, lost my bikini and put it back on before the guy I was with noticed.

Up, Up and Away!Up, Up and Away!3. Zip-lined through a rainforest in St. Lucia, hiked up an inactive volcano in St. Kitts and flew in a helicopter over an active one in Montserrat.

4. Flew in a different helicopter over Niagara Falls, a float plane over the Mississippi in Louisiana and sat in the cockpit of a private jet - while in the air.

5. Rode a bicycle built for 2 through Stanley Park in British Columbia - wearing a dress, high heels and a big, floppy straw hat. Best not to ask.

6. "Soaked" in cedar-mulch composting tub during a spa Cedar Enzyme BathCedar Enzyme Bathtreatment that made me feel more connected to the earth than ever before in my life.

7. Worked in a maximum security prison and escorted a woman home to see her family - she was serving a life sentence for murder.

8. Chased a bull moose while snowmobiling in Northern Ontario.

9. Sunbathed on a nude beach in St. Marten and Toronto *and* ran 9 km (more than 5 miles) without stopping.

10. Ate "Heavenly Hash" made by nuns who had taken a vow of silence in Alabama.

What have you done that you're glad you did?
