So many trips, so little time!

Vacation PlanningVacation PlanningIsn't it about time you gave yourself permission to have the kind of vacation you really want?

Let's face it, if you're looking for a same sex partner, a Disney cruise jammed with kids isn't going to impress. And if you're a spa-worshiping gay man, one that caters to husband-hunting debutantes is going to miss the mark.

At GoGirlfriend, we're eager to share travel companies who get it. If you're looking for gay and/or lesbian adventure travel - with a partner or solo - have a look at some of the companies we've found:

  • Olivia: The energy behind Olivia's pink-powered freedom is simple - joyful freedom to travel openly with your same sex partner. Melissa Etheridge, the Indigo Girls and Whoopi Goldberg have all traveled with Olivia.
  • Pied Piper Travel: A gay group tour operator, Pied Piper Travel specializes in organizing wholly gay cruises and gay groups on gay-friendly cruise ships.
  • "R" Family Vacations: "R" Family (owned by Rosie O'Donnell) caters to both the gay and lesbian community and abides by the philosophy that everyone is welcome.
  • Alyson Adventures: Alyson Adventures specializes in active, robust vacations that can be easily customized. Stay with the group and make new friends or venture off for solitary exploring.

Know an adventure company that specializes in gay and lesbian travel? Share it with us.

Adventure? These look

Adventure? These look pretty tame to me: Rosie's adventure cruise is of New England and Canada...come on people, lets be a little more H-Core before calling it adventure. If they do offer real adventure travel, then tell us about it!!!

Check out Adventures in Good

Check out Adventures in Good Company, which offers REAL adventure travel for women of all ages (e.g. trekking in Bhutan, climbing Kilimanjaro). While not specifically for lesbians, it is a lesbian friendly company where everyone can be free to be who they are. It is probably not the best place to find a partner, but it is a place where you can bring your partner and be comfortable.
