The Wall Street Journal's "Finicky Traveler" tells it like it really is

The Seti touts itself as a place that embraces you in serenity. A place that whispers with an imprint of grace and timelessness. A place that melds inspiration and location.

Setai HotelSetai HotelShovel anyone? Enough already with the PR speel.

When I'm considering the best place to hide away with my partner for the weekend or a hotel to meet up with my gal pals, I need the real deal. Because whether I'm handing over wads of cash like I would at the Setai, or going bargain basement, I want to get what I'm paying for - not less.

The Wall Street Journal's Finicky Traveler, Laura Landro, tells it like it is - with pictures as proof. In this clip of The Setai, she shows you the funky view, the odd tub and luxuriously designed room. Hint: you'll love the room. The view and the tub, not so much.

What do you think of the Setai? Would you visit after seeing this video?

When you travel, do you want to see what you're getting before you reserve? Or are you happy to go on what the website promises?
