Perdido Key, Northwest Panhandle

Maybe you've heard of Perdido Key, but we're guessing you won't be able to find it on a map. Nestled in the Northwest Panhandle, Perdido Key is Florida's best kept secret.

It's home to a preserved environment and natural wildlife including dolphins, loggerhead turtles and Finding Perdido KeyFinding Perdido Keyosprey. But miles of snow white beaches and clear white waters, along with bays, estuaries and wetlands make Perdido Key one of the top rated beaches for swimming.

Perdido Key Weather: With spring and summer highs of up to 89F, make sure you pack your sunscreen. Fall and winter hover between 50F to 70F.

Perdido Key Facilities: Perdido Key has public restrooms, showers and picnic tables.

Perdido Key Beach Fees: There is a small entrance fee into parks, plus any fee's included to see special events.
