North of Canaveral National Seashore

No tan lines here! Experience the feeling of freedom and go buff on this bare-all island. Although there has been conflict between clothed and nude visitors, the most northern section of Apollo beach near crossover #5 is all for nudity. The beach has recently posted signs telling visitors when they are about to enter an area where they may encounter nudity.

Parking is very scarce here, so arrive early to avoid a long, long walk.

Accommodations: Motels and hotels can be found in nearby cities such as Tampa for reasonable prices. Apollo BeachApollo BeachCamping is available on Apollo Beach November through April with a valid permit. The closest non-camping accommodation is the Aloha Motel. Be advised, this motel is not a nudist facility.

Apollo Beach Local Activities: Swimming, Sunbathing and relaxing on the beach are the most relaxing activities you can do at Apollo Beach. Try a guided walk or canoe trip along the coast of Canaveral National Seashore and discover natural and aquatic life such as sand dunes and sea turtles. If you like to golf, the Apollo Beach Golf Club offers the most innovative golf course in architectural history.

Apollo Beach Area Attractions: Take a guided fishing trip to Mosquito Lagoon where you will find some of the best fishing in the area. Discover a turn of the century settlement along the Eldora Trail, or hike the Turtle Mound Trail, leading to the top of Timucuan Mound.

Apollo Beach Area Events:

  • Manatee Arts Festival (March): 2 days full of arts and crafts.
  • Beach party at Beer Can Island (May): Celebrate with live music, drinks, and games with a full day event under the sun.

Apollo Beach Nightlife: Considered the "Nightlife Capital of Florida's West Coast," when the sun goes down Tampa cranks up the music. Listen to reggae, rock, blues, country, salsa, punk and jazz in any downtown hot spot. Ybor City's 7th Avenue shuts down the street to vehicles on the weekend making this Tampa's party central.

Apollo Beach Weather: Summer has average temperatures ranging from 81 - 91F, and winter temperatures ranging from 60 - 75F.

Apollo Beach Facilities: Section 1 is the only section with lifeguards on duty from 10am - 5pm from Memorial Day through Labor Day. Self-contained chemical toilets are offered along the beach, but forget about showers, payphones or running water.

Beach Fees: Admission to the beach is $5 per vehicle and $3 per pedestrian.

Naturism is the great human

Naturism is the great human equalizer. It's about accepting yourself and others for who you are and not what you look like, own, or wear. It's about de-stressing, relaxing, getting back to innocence. When I sit on my back deck in the morning or evening, contemplating my surroundings, I really feel close to God. I feel my batteries being recharged. The world is full of surprises and the secret naturist, who tends to explore country side and other areas not usually explored by 'normal' people and who also present an attractive target by being naked, tend to attract all manner of interesting creatures, many of which are intend on biting, stinging, eating and generally making life a misery for any unfortunate who passes by. Naturist looks like you and I and come from all walks of life. You will find it to be a relaxing lifestyle that is free of the daily stress we all experience. Enjoy our clothing free lifestyle!

you are confusing the 2

you are confusing the 2 apollo beaches in florida. yes, one is a nudist beach, and is located on florida's EAST coast, near cape canaveral. the other Apollo Beach is a community on the WEST coast of florida, and is just south of tampa. they are 2 very different places!
