Endless days filled with sand, sun and surf is our idea of the perfect Florida vacation. But Florida beaches are as varied as the more than 80 million people who visit each year - and there's something here for everyone.

Florida Beaches Guide to the Best BeachesFlorida Beaches Guide to the Best BeachesDo you prefer secluded shores over party crowds? Are you a theme park junkie or a closet nudist? Or maybe your perfect beach is balanced with great shopping or picture perfect reefs for snorkeling and scuba diving?

A visit to Florida is as American as apple pie at Thanksgiving. Florida is the winner of a multitude of tourism awards, including the most media-friendly state in 2006 by the North American Travel Journalists association. And American, Canadian and overseas travelers who visit are serious about their vacation - they stay for an average of 9 nights. There are more hotel rooms in Orlando alone than any other American city.

GoGirlfriend has surfed through Florida beaches so you can spend your vacation surfing the waves, not the Internet. Whether you're hunting for a fun-filled family getaway or a romantic beach wedding, our Florida Beaches Guide helps you compare your beach options quickly and easily.

No matter what's on your beachy wish-list, there's a beach here for you. Start clicking on the links below to kick your Florida vacation planning into high gear.

Too true. Whats the deal

Too true. Whats the deal with Americans and nude beaches? There are a few beaches in the Caribbean that make the trip their very worthwhile. I like florida and I too am disappointed naturism and nudism is so frowned upon.

Unfortunately the appalling

Unfortunately the appalling lack of naturist beaches throughout the USA and the prejudice that naturists face means that this naturist will not be visiting Florida again. In all other respects we enjoyed our holiday, despite a hurricane, but beach after beach without being able to dress sensibly is very frustrating. We will not be back.
