How do we love thee, let us count the ways

Happy Valentine's DayHappy Valentine's DayOkay, we admit it - we love Valentine's Day and all the sappy sweetness that goes with it. From the staff here at GG to all of you, Happy Valentine's Day. And for an added bonus (because there always has to be an added bonus) we have a special gift just for you. We had a little help from Elizabeth Barrett Browning. Hopefully she's not leveling curses at us from beyond the grave...

How do We Love Thee? Let Us Count the Ways...

How do we love thee? Let us count the ways.
We love thee as much as the white sandy shores of the Caribbean Sea where we dream of living out the end of our days in quiet repose.
For all trials and tribulations of finding the ideal holiday for husbands, kids and friends.
We love thee to the level of the ticket lines that run on forever, flight delays and queuing endlessly on the runway.
Our most quiet need will soon be answered, by sun and candle-light.
We love thee freely, as we struggle through security, slipping off our shoes, emptying our pockets, turning on cell phones, laptops and iPods;
We love thee purely, as we wait patiently for the our row to be called, our pillow delivered, the bathroom to be free.
We love thee with a passion put to use
In our old griefs with other weary travelers who've forgotten common courtesy, and with our childhood's faith that we will make it through.
We love thee with a love we seemed to lose
With cramped seats, stale sandwiches and lost luggage - we love thee with the breath,
Smiles, tears, of all our lives!

And if Homeland Security choose,

We shall but love thee better after the first margarita arrives on our beachfront patio.
