Beautiful Day to Watch 112th Boston Marathon
Runners from around the world are about to start the biggest marathon of their lives. These dedicated runners love to travel to new race destinations; but to get into the Boston, runners need spectacular qualifying times. Personally, I see marathons as more of a spectator sport, but I vastly admire the 25 000 competitors who beat incredible odds this year to qualify for the prestigious race.
Training RunThis year's Boston runners were lucky enough for a weekend
of beautiful weather before they hit the starting line, and spectators are
looking forward to the same luxury. By the time the first wave of runners hit
the pavement at 9:25, Boston should be well on its way to today's 58 degree
high.
If you're in Boston, you can catch the start of the Race along Main Street in Hopkinton (they start in waves, so runners will be heading out as late as 10:30 am. If you're more interested in the finish line, head to Copley Square (expect to see runners at about 11:30). But for a decent view, reserve a place there soon.
