Arlington, Texas, apparently

Looking for a man to dance cheek to cheek with on Arlington MenArlington Menyour next vacation? Pack your bags and head to Arlington, Texas, where it's raining men, according to Men's Health Magazine.

Their criteria:

  • Education level: The University of Texas and Tarrant County College are both here, which means well-educated profs and teachers and brainy students.
  • Income level: Higher than the national average.
  • Low divorce rates: Brains and money add up to loyalty in Arlington.
  • Adrenalin junkie heaven: The 15 roller-coasters at Six Flags apparently help guys feed their addictions without risking their lives.
  • Ratio: There are simply more guys here than girls who want them.
  • Arlington MenArlington MenWhen Oprah rated Arlington, it came in 3rd (for single men over 35) which is still pretty sweet if you ask us.

To celebrate their men, Arlington, Texas has released the top ten places to meet them. If you want a Texan to keep you warm tonight, forget the bars:

  • Texas Rangers game: As many as 50,000 bodies flock to these games. Go to the hot dog stand by the museum (guys like the food here) or stand on a bleacher with a tray of garlic fries.
  • Six Flags Over Texas: Studies show you're more attractive to the opposite sex just after a roller-coaster ride. Buckle up, girls!
  • Six Flags Hurricane Harbor: Men in swimsuits. Enough said.
  • River Legacy Park: Men riding bikes, playing with their dogs, hiking...
  • Whole Foods Market: Guys here take care of their bodies.
  • Dallas Cowboys Stadium: It's a construction site, not a stadium yet - get the picture? Take your binoculars.
  • Cowboys Dancehall: Men in jeans and good music. Do you really need anything else in life?
  • QT on Ballpark Way & Lamar: Sure it's a gas station, but the men who stop here like to open doors for gals. And we all know manners are important.
  • Starbucks: A given in any city.
  • University of Texas: Stroll the campus, hang out in the caf or take a class. Remember, education broadens the mind...
  • Where do you think the best guys in the country live?

As a guy who lives in

As a guy who lives in Arlington I can attest to the fact that there are more of us than women. Where are all the women going in Arlington -- there seem to be none around. :)

And yes, we adore the Bay of Fundy :-) While I'll agree it's no longer parka weather in your neck of the woods, it's not quite string bikini weather either. Shall we toast to it and let the beer warm us up? Happy St Paddy's Day! Julia"

I had just purchased it on board the ship the day prior. But nothing can compare to the loss of a family member. The Captain had everyones attention for the announcement. Captain Draper done a great job informing the passengers of the accident. Our thoughts and prayers are with the Rumphrey family."
