Chocolate ecstasy times two at the spa - Just say ahhh...

I can toe the company line in my stilettos - backwards if I need to - but sometimes I like being led down the garden path with sweet nothings and promises of chocolate whispered in my ear.

My partner excels at the first part, but the naked truth is I covet chocolate more than just about anything else. Sorry, honey.

I recently visited the Little Inn of Bayfield, Ontario, Chocolate EcstasyChocolate EcstasyCanada, with my partner; we decided on the Chocolate Body Wrap and Facial for Two - a blissful 90-minute ecstasy.

It started with a steam shower, then a scrub - all with chocolate-scented oils and salts. Julia Dundas, spa director wrapped me in a thick chocolate clay and swaddled me in blankets while she massaged my feet. But the treatment climaxed when she massaged a rich chocolate lotion over my noodle-like limbs.

Former manager of the Canadian Rowing Team at the Sydney Olympics, Julia's massages are my new favorite obsession.

To top off the treatment and ensure nirvana, Julia doled out dark chocolate treats and sent us back to our room for a long, err, nap....

I set up Hands Up Holidays with the passion to create amazing vacations where people got to learn about other cultures, explore a destination, and interact meaningfully with the locals, through the medium of carefully consulted volunteer projects. Families do indeed get a lot out of our trips, as do couples, single travellers, and seniors. Yours in Adventures That Count Chris "

Right now the agencies are still dealing with a lot of paperwork to get into Myanmar. However, once they are in, they need names and applications on file so they can call on you when they are ready to go. If your vacation dates are more structured, why don't you contact an agency which runs volunteer programs all the time, you'll be able to make a difference somewhere without driving your boss nuts waiting to find out when you're going. Good luck!"
